Letter from Mr Downing, Chair of Governors

Dear Parents and Carers,

Following Mr Twigg's exciting news about his move to be Head of Primary at a school in Malaysia, we have been working to select his successor, culminating in an interview process last week with a number of strong candidates.

On behalf of the Governors, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Claire Love as the next Headteacher of the School with effect from the new academic year in September.

Mrs Love has of course worked alongside Mr Twigg for several years as Deputy Headteacher, and has been instrumental in making the school what it is today. She is thrilled to accept this appointment and to build on the outstanding qualities the school has established under Mr Twigg's leadership.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the pupils, staff and governors who contributed to the interview process.
