March - Newsletter 18

Dear Parents/Carers,

Puzzle Day

The children thoroughly enjoyed the puzzle day which was funded by the PTA. Classes took part in team challenges and puzzles and the children had to show perseverance and teamwork in order to succeed.

The PTA have also funded the purchase of some puzzle boxes for classes to challenge themselves with.

There are some more photos on our website in the ‘Events and Projects’ section showing the day - click here.

Parent Questionnaire 2012

The Parent Questionnaire is now open on the VLE. We would really like all parents to complete the questionnaire to give us as full a picture of your views as possible. It only takes a few minutes to complete and we use it to help prioritise our school improvement work. The questionnaire will be open until the start of the Easter holidays. Thank you for your help.

Measles in Stockport

NHS Stockport have written to us asking that we inform you that there have been two confirmed cases of measles in Stockport and to let you know that the most effective way of protecting children against measles infection is immunisation with the MMR vaccine. Parents of children who have missed one or both of the MMR jabs should contact their GP surgery and arrange an appointment for the vaccination as soon as possible.

Further information about measles can be found on the NHS Choices website and parents can also obtain advice by telephoning their GP’s surgery.
