Jump Off!
On Tuesday 6th July all of the children at Lane End Primary School took part in 'Jump Off' a sponsored skip organised by Mrs Lenaghan to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and school.
We started with a skipping demonstration from the skipping club. Every class then skipped for half an hour during the day. Children tried out new tricks, learnt to skip with a friend and had a great time while they were doing it.
A fantastic £1463.97 was raised by the event - thank you everyone for the generous support. £1171.19 of this goes to the Bristish Heart Foundation and £292.78 to school fundraising.
Many of the children even carried on skipping at playtime!
