Pirates of the Curry Bean

The Junior Production of 'Pirates of the Curry Bean' was superb. The children performed extremely well with the best acting we've ever seen and wonderful singing and dancing too. It was a huge team effort with Mr Toyne leading the way, very ably supported by the Junior staff and a wide range of other staff, volunteers and parents who have helped with singing, dancing, costumes, props, learning lines, acting and everything else that is involved.

The new staging and lights purchased by the PTA added brilliantly to the show too. The PTA money included a wonderful contribution of over £800 raised by ex-pupil Melissa Ahmed who has been working in her own time, volunteering in shops, dog walking and baby sitting and even organised a bag packing event as Asda to help raise money for the stage lights as the productions were her highlight when she was at school - thank you again to the PTA and Melissa.
