Start Your Day The Hallé Way

Ewan Easton MBE and Jim Muirhead from the world renowned Hallé Orchestra visited school to deliver 'Start your Day the Hallé Way'. This was a truly inspirational interactive performance for the whole school. The children participated brilliantly and both musicians commented on the children's excellent behaviour and confidence and how much they'd enjoyed their morning in our school. There was singing, playing, music teaching, a world record-breaking performance of 'Flight of The Bumble Bee' and even references to our work on having a 'Growth Mindset' - knowing that practice and effort is the key to improvement.   We were very fortunate to have Ewan and Jim in school as they are only able to work in three schools each year - it was certainly an assembly to remember.
